Thanks so much for sharing your tips Marilyn, I really appreciate it...welcome back to the soaping world! :)Ceehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13894195914088348516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3584254155023774978.post-33965688061627761522013-01-12T18:58:52.732-08:002013-01-12T18:58:52.732-08:00this soap is adorable! I use Crystal Light containers (actually they're oval now) and the other brands of diet koolaid canisters for round soaps. For easy removal spray them with Pam first. Put them in the freezer the next day to unmold. I used to sell tons of the round soaps.

For a nice clean cut, try cutting it with a wire cutter. I used to have a Delsie Adjustable soap cutter that cut with a fine guitar wire and the cuts were beautiful and all the soaps were the same size, too. Unfortunately, I sold all my soap stuff 3 years ago. Now I want to start again, and I sure miss my Delsie, so I'm trying to make a similar cutter. Delsie is out of business now. marilynahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00244552522243178426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3584254155023774978.post-45938565951246307882012-11-28T19:49:22.399-08:002012-11-28T19:49:22.399-08:00Thanks! I've only tried 2 different CP recipes in the round so far and one of them was the super soft SoapQueen recipe we both tried. The only one that comes out consistently nice is the HP, I might just have to stick to that :)Ceehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13894195914088348516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3584254155023774978.post-76635059164784755262012-09-24T06:37:56.783-07:002012-09-24T06:37:56.783-07:00super cute! I don't use sodium lactate btw. But then I wonder if it's the temperature because I use a pvc pipe and it gets hot to the touch when it goes through gel stage. hmmm..SoDakSoaper {Kalla}https://www.blogger.com/profile/11019369315209686257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3584254155023774978.post-91379965745627701882012-09-23T09:46:47.757-07:002012-09-23T09:46:47.757-07:00It´s not a pretty soap, but I can use it myself :D...It´s not a pretty soap, but I can use it myself :DKirppuhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08411411748094177202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3584254155023774978.post-3246055209102878022012-09-23T09:27:34.064-07:002012-09-23T09:27:34.064-07:00That's so funny that you were working on the s...That's so funny that you were working on the same thing this weekend! I just made my first soaps using a round mold and I am trying to figure out how to make the edges smoother myself.
