I always like to have a special birthday soap on hand to give to family members or friends on their birthday. I like to make this one because it's so sparkly and glittery; a perfect soap to have on hand to give to someone special :)
I tried a new recipe with this one; just changed up the
percentages of the oils a bit and added castor oil and shea butter. It’s fun to
try different percentages of oils to see how it affect the lather, hardness, silkiness
and moisturizing qualities etc. of the soap.
This soap smells like cake too….fragranced with Clementine
Cupcake, my favorite cakey fragrance!
Uncut: (star confetti, glitter and pink himalayan salt on top)

Nice soap :) Like the little stars on the top. Did you use any colors or only titanium dioxide in the center?
ReplyDeleteThanks Kirppu! I used super pearly white mica in the centre and didn't add any fragrance to the centre part (to keep it from turning color) :)
DeleteCute soap, Cee Gee! I love the glitter, confetti, and pink salt on top. The fragrance sounds yummy! Anyone who gets a bar of this soap would have a very happy birthday indeed!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Jenny :D
DeleteLove the stars! I've been thinking about ordering those for Christmas soaps.
ReplyDeleteThey would be perfect for Christmas soaps!
ReplyDeleteHey did this discolor on you, CeeGee?
ReplyDeleteHi there! I kept a bar of this soap for a few months after and it only ever discolored slightly, I'm talking a really light tan color, but never discolored beyond that.
DeleteThank you so much. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog
DeleteYou're most welcome, and thank you for the loves...lol!
