Hi Gloria, aren't the roses pretty? No, they are pre-made soap petals. I need to practice my piping skills, but I would love to try piping roses one day :)
Thank you Linda, I really appreciate it! I used all powdered colorants: black and green oxide, um blue and brown mica. Next time I think I would go bolder...the brown is definitely leaning toward pink and the green kind of got lost in there.
Cee your soaps are beautiful! I just love the rose....is it cold process too?

ReplyDeleteThanks Kalla, I'm addicted to glitter...I can't help it! ;p
DeleteThe colors in your swirl soap are lovely! And it sounds good if you are already restocking :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Marika, I wasn't sure if the swirl colors 'popped' enough, but they seems to have become more defined in the last few days...weird!

ReplyDeleteMe too Joanna :) I really appreciate being able to change up the configuration depending on what shape of soap I need to make.

DeleteLove the swirl soap, but the roses soap is so sweet! Do you have a mold for your roses? I love them!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat work, Cee!
Thanks Nat! They aren't from a mold, I bought the roses pre-made (dissolving soap petals).
DeleteAs always, your soaps are gorgeous, but how do you find time to do it all and make it all look so amazing?
ReplyDeleteThe same I was wondering!
DeleteNo sleep? Red Bull?! I really try to find time each day to do something creative, it's very rejuvinating =)
DeleteThe roses are stunning and ever so realistic. The soft pink is adorable. Beautiful swirls too.
