Luxury Soap Cut

Because this was an ungelled soap, it took an extra day to set up and cut. I'm really happy with the natural color from the milks, oils and butters, with just a hint of a swirl from the pearly white mica:

PS - Is Photobucket down for everyone or just me? I haven't been able to access it for about 3 days, and I'm really missing it :(

PPS - My blog might be quiet this week, I've been commissioned to make a Lightning McQueen birthday cake for a little friend of mine....wish me luck, I'm going to need it!!!

  1. I never had a doubt that it would be so nice and creamy. The colours are beautiful,as well and now I got a picture how the pumpkin/ whipping cream soap had been topped! Great job!

  4. As I don't know better place for sharing my impression about this soap, I will post it here.
A few days ago,the 'Luxury soap' I had won in Cee's poll, finally arrived! After almost two months, long journey across the half of the world and who knows how many countries along the way, it finally showed up!
As for me,it was worthwhile waiting!
It looks exactly like in this picture, but what you don't know is it's smooth, flawless texture and fine, discrete, subtle scent, which makes you sniff and sniff again. I'm not good at describing scents,so you better believe Cee's description.
Under the shower: when I first rubbed it between my palms, it took it a while to make the lather. I could say by it's creaminess it's made with milk. Then,I rubbed it on my bath puffy and people, that was the richest, the longest lasting, the most wonderful lather you had ever seen!
It felt like silk on the skin and I could bet there was silk in it. I know it doesn't contain silk, but Cee could freely have labeled it without anyone doubting it.
I will keep enjoying my soap thanks to Cee who didn't spare neither money, nor effort to send it to this far destination! Her passion for soaps has no limits and I'm so grateful to have known her!

  6. Oh yes,I forgot to write it had a label with little flowers attached with little zircons in the middle. Adorable! Luxury!
But,aside of that, what really matter is its texture, shape, scent and above all its 'under the shower' sensation!
